Typically in lockstep, Democrats, who have always ‘toed the party line’, are now drawing battle lines, with progressives pushing for over-the-top policies on issues like healthcare, climate change, and economic inequality. At the same time, moderates advocate for a somewhat more cautious, centrist approach so as not to alienate the independent voters they so desperately need. This clash of visions has paralyzed the party, making it increasingly difficult for Democrats to craft a coherent, compelling political message that resonates with the broader electorate. Make no mistake, the Democrat Party of old is gone. It has been hijacked by a small number of people with the largest and loudest mouths.

More people have had their eyes opened to the underhanded tactics of the liberal media during this timeframe because the people have watched it unfold with their own eyes.
For years, they have been able to hide liberal corruption and demonize conservative efforts to show the public the reality of what is truly happening behind the scenes because most of the public has not paid close attention to American politics. More recently, the corruption has not only been blatant but has also been proven. The public is now finally seeing for themselves how deep the ties are between the liberal elites in power and their mainstream media advocates.
Restoring public trust in the media will require a concerted effort to address these concerns of bias. Journalists must strive for impartiality and transparency while also acknowledging and addressing their own potential blind spots. Only then can the media fulfill its vital role as a watchdog and informer of the public.
American Politics – The New Normal: Constant Controversy and Partisan Gridlock
The “New Normal” of constant controversy and partisan gridlock has become a concerning reality in many countries around the world. Hyper-partisanship and political instability are increasingly the norm, with deep divisions preventing meaningful progress on critical issues.
This climate of unrelenting conflict has had a profoundly negative impact on governance, as elected officials prioritize political point-scoring over problem-solving. The public is growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of tangible results from their political leaders, further entrenching the cycle of polarization.
It has been said—and screamed and whined— that this new era of perpetual controversy poses significant challenges to the future of democracy; however, that is nonsense. It is, in fact, proof of the strength of our democracy that we have a route around controversy while maintaining our Republic. Restoring faith in the political process and finding ways to bridge ideological divides will be essential if countries, ours and others, hope to tackle the complex, multifaceted problems we all face. Decisive action and a renewed commitment to bipartisanship are needed to break free from the gridlock and deliver results for citizens.
